T3 - Game of Games - Challenge #5
Just as was said at the Sunday morning swim this morning….there's an opportunity to earn quite a bunch of points here!! Before we get into the details, it is MANDATORY that before you take on this challenge to have an emergency flotation device such as a floatie or life jacket before you go for three or five points!!
For one point: Submerge yourself shoulder high in a bath tub or kiddie pool with ice water. You must stay submerged for one minute and you need to show proof such as pouring bags of ice in the water - at least four bags that are the size of the ones you can get from any gas station or grocery store for around $1 each. Also show proof of using cold water from any faucet or spigot. Record yourself for the entire duration!
For three points: Submerge yourself shoulder high in a lake or swimming pool for two minutes! Show proof plus air temperature must be below 55F that day. This cannot be done in an indoor swimming pool or an outdoor heated pool
For five points: Swim in a lake or swimming pool and show proof of swimming for 500 meters. Air temperature must be below 55F that day. This cannot be done in an indoor swimming pool or an outdoor heated pool.
