Making Sean a Trifecta - 2/3 complete

Well, the hardest part is now over.  Regiment elite Tripp and his support crew successfully brought Sean through the South Carolina Spartan Beast over the weekend!

As was the case of Miami, you can expect to see the official video of this adventure in the coming weeks!  Congratulations Tripp and Sean!

The perks are here!

If you haven't had your eyes on the T3 live updates page, you really should!  Today the unlockable perks have been revealed that the December T3 class will have the chance to unlock, provided that they finish enough pregame challenges.  So far the team has gained 21 points, which is enough to already unlock some minor perks.

Making Sean a Spartan Trifecta

This weekend, keep your eyes peeled for the red R flags as Tripp and Sean return to tackle the South Carolina BEAST!  This will complete 2/3 of their trifecta, leaving the easier Mississippi Sprint for the last piece.  The course will no doubt be our most difficult race, but we have to power through it!  Like Miami, we'll be filming this event.  If you haven't seen the Miami event yet, see the video below.

The games begin!

The best part about the T3 is when the pre-game challenges begin.  It's like the hunger games but with burpees!  All of the information that is distributed to the class will now be made public, so you can see their challenges over at the live updates section of this website.  Here is their first challenge.

Confirmed T3 enlisted so far

The early bird gets the worm, or burpee points in this case. Our current roster of confirmed and registered T3 enlisted are as follows:

Gil B.

Haidar H.

Robert D.

John L.

Robert T.

Nathan J.

These are the people you want to look for on the live updates. These are the ones that have potential to make or break the team. Many are still on the fenceline on joining and have doubts, which means nothing until they set foot on the beach for lap 0 at 0930, 13 December 2014. So far there are a lot of returning elites that are ready for some continuous learning!

Five candidates remaining

As you no doubt know from the Goruck updates, five are left. Travis' mind outlasted his body as it was wracked with cramps at the ruck march.  Something tells us we haven't seen the last of our badass elites.  Not by a long shot.

One down

Unfortunately, Matt Dolitsky did not pass the 5mi beach run in the PT test and has been removed from the event. As is usual with Matt, he is in great spirits and is making the best of his situation with his head held up high.  For now he is enjoying a nice night camping under the stars with Carey. Way to make the best of things, were very proud of you Matt!

Travis still remains as far as we know.

Follow Matt and Travis at GORUCK Selection!

Team Regiment elites Matt and Travis will be embarking upon GORUCK Selection 015 just days from now, and like our T3 updates GORUCK has also implemented a live updates system to help you keep track of the madness that will unfold.  Keep your browser open on the live updates and enjoy the comfort of your computer chair while an expected 100+ people endure the hardest moments of their life!

We love GORUCK.  In fact, we're a proud affiliate of those awesome folks.  If you'd like to register for a GORUCK Light, Challenge, Heavy or even Selection, please show your support of the team and register via our affiliate link.  Thank you for keeping us in mind.

The 2014 Spartan Ultrabeast review

It's FINALLY here!  After two weeks of doing the Ultra Beast, I have finally put my thoughts into words (over 10,000 of them) and really put it out there.  Before reading, I recommend reading the lead-in to it from the 2013 Ultra Beast review.  Without any more delays, here is my 2014 Spartan Ultrabeast story.
